Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Balls

This is a yummy, yet nutritious recipe to give a little balance as we enjoy the wonderful treats that make this season fun. This is a great recipe to make with kids and for kids. It has just the right balance of protein and healthy fat with just enough sweet to make it tastey!

  • 1/2 cup honey (or agave nectar)
  • 2/3 cup all natural peanut butter non-hydrogenated and unsweetened (can also use almond or other nut butter)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Juice Plus+ Chocolate Complete Powder or other chocolate flavored multi mineral/protein powder
  • 2 1/2 cups crispy brown rice cereal or rice crispys
Mix together the honey and nut butter and vanilla. Mix in the protein powder. Then gently mix in the rice cereal. Then, with your hands-or your kids hands, roll the mixture into bite size balls. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Makes about 2-3 dozen. Enjoy!
